PrintChocolate Chip M&M CookiesAuthor: AriIngredients2 sticks salted butter, softened, I like Kerrygold brand3/4 cup brown sugar3/4 cup white sugar2 eggs, room temperature1 TB. vanilla2 3/4 cup plus 1 TB. flour, spoon leveled not packed in1 tsp. baking soda1 tsp. salt1 heaping cup M&M's1 heaping cup semi sweet chocolate chipsInstructionsIn a stand mixer, add in your butter and sugars. Mix together on low medium speed for 2-3 minutes until everything is combined. Next add in eggs and vanilla and on low medium speed mix for 1 minute.In the mixer add in flours, baking soda, and salt. Pulse in the flour until its almost combined, but not fully combined. You should still have some flour left.Add in M&M's and chocolate chips and then mix until everything is mixed together. I do this on low speed.Roll cookie dough into balls, place a few extra M&M's on top, and then cover the cookie dough really well and refrigerate for 1-2 hours. I've left my cookie dough rest over night too!Once you are ready to bake, preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place cookie dough on the sheet and bake for 10-11 minutes. Tops of cookies should start to SLIGHTLY brown.Remove from the oven and let rest for at least 20 minutes before devouring. Enjoy! Arielle
